the apostle Bartholomew (11H(BARTHOLOMEW))

The characters of Bartholomew and Nathaniel have sometimes been conflated. The name Bartholomew is listed among the disciples in the synoptic gospels, but not in John, while the calling of Nathaniel only occurs in the gospel of John.
