Fourteenth-century church said to be founded by St Patrick following his shipwreck on Ynys Badrig (Middle House). The church was restored in 1812, 1840 and 1884, in the latter case at the expense of Henry Edward John Stanley, third Baron Stanley of Alderley. His conversion to Islam explains the Islamic character of the stained glass and glass tiles.
