Given in memory of John Norman Stanley (born 1922) and Martin Oliver Stanley (born 1924), who both died on 21 December 1947.

Another work by Hugh Easton, showing St Nicholas and St Stephen may have been in the Victorian Church in Holyhead, St Seiriol's (demolished 1992). The work was listed for sale by Drew Pritchard Architectural Antique Dealers as from St Seiriol's (March 2008).
