1852 Three-light window with six scenes: John the Baptist Preaching, the arrest of John the Baptist, the Baptism of Christ, two women (perhaps the Visitation of Mary and Elizabeth), John the Baptist in prison, and Christ greeting John the Baptist. Foliate and vine decoration, with angels in the tracery lights technique: stained glass firm/studio: William Miller Church of St John the Baptist, Cardiff vestry The window is dated and attributed in The Builder, no. 465, 3 January 1852, 7, which states that it was the gift of the Right Honourable John Nicholl, MP. It notes, nonetheless, that the 'tone of this window is far from pleasing. Another is to be put in, but it arrived too late to be fixed previous to the reopening.'
