Edward A. Woore (1880-1960)

Stained glass artist and designer who studied under Christopher Whall and was later his assistant. Edward Woore made windows in his own studio as well as designing for other firms. He was also a close friend of Karl Parsons, completing many of his commissions after the death of Karl Parsons in 1934. Woore also worked with Arnold Robinson on many windows at the Bristol firm Joseph Bell & Son. Shortly before his death in 1960, Woore retired to Wales.
