medium: wood

Church of St Ddwywe, Llanddwywe, Gwynedd
east wall of the chancel

Texts: 'That the love wherewith Thou hast loved Me may be in them and I in them.' (John 17:26) 'As thou hast sent Me into the World, even so have I also sent them into the World.' (John 17:18) 'That the World may believe that Thou hast sent Me' (John 17:21). Behind the altar under a crucifix: 'I am in them and Thou in Me Perfect in One' (John 17:23).

Appropriately for the place of the Eucharist, the texts come from the long dialogue at the time of the Last Supper from John's Gospel.
