Reginald Bell (1886-1950)

Stained glass designer. Reginald Otto Bell was the grandson of Alfred Bell and joined the family firm of Clayton and Bell in 1907. He was made a partner of the firm in 1918. He served on the council of the British Society of Master Glass Painters in the 1920s, and was honorary secretary from 1932. Bell ensured the survival of Clayton & Bell following bomb damage to their premises in 1941, moving the studio out of London to Little Hampden, Buckinghamshire.
