Mariotto di Bigio di Bindo Albertinelli (1474–1515)

A painter born in Florence in 1474. He studied under Cosimo Rosselli. Fra Bartolomeo was a fellow pupil, and they subsequently set up a studio together. When Fra Bartolomeo joined the Dominican Order in 1500, Albertinelli continued the studio alone. He died in 1515.


Examples of his work are found at the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff.
