Christ Healing the Sick

In the lower panel two local scenes show a shepherd with sheep and the Clogau Gold Mines, with a Welsh harp.technique: stained glass size: 40 cm (width) firm/studio: G. Maile & Son Church of St Ddwywe, Llanddwywe, Gwynedd west wall Text 'He laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them' (Luke 4:40). Given by Elisabeth Hands in memory of her Uncle William Williams MD and his sisters of Bennar Fawr. To the patron's design, with the theme: 'God working in His world'. The faculty for the window is dated April 1959, although the window is listed with a date of 1960 in the list of windows published by the British Society of Master Glass Painters in 1966. The Clogau Gold Mines were found on the land of William Williams. |
