firm/studio: Robert J. Newbery
Church of St Peter, Goodwick, Pembrokeshire
north wall of the chancel
Text: 'Until the day break and the shadows flee away' (Song of Solomon 2:17 and 4:6).
Given in memory of Philip Granville Harries Porter (1900-1924), a lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.
The meaning of the scene is not clear, but probably represents a baptism. The standing figures are perhaps Peter (left) and John (right).
