The faculty for the window is dated December 1946, and notes the designer of the window was Harry Grylls.

The text below the scene is 'Go and preach the Gospel', derived from Mark 16:15.

The window was given in memory of the Ven. B.I. Church-Jones, Archdeacon of Brecon (1923-41) and vicar of Builth 1919-41, and paid for by public subscription.
