The Ship of the Church

The passengers are shown in contemporary and historical dress, and are accompanied by St David (seated under the canopy) and St James (at the prow). The sails carry the emblems of the cross with the crown of thorns, the Virgin and Child, the Pelican, and the chalice bearing the host. Trumpeting angels are shown above the ship. The Holy Spirit as a dove, and the sun moon and stars are shown in the tracery.technique: stained glass size: 230 cm (width) firm/studio: A. K.
