Hanging Rood with Mary and John and the symbols of the four Evangelists on the arms of the cross. Haloes and symbols highlighted in gold.

east end of the nave

Boldly carved in neo-Gothic style. The sculptor, Brooke Hitch, was also responsible for the effigy of Bishop John Owen (d.1926) and the carving of the tomb and effigy of the Countess of Maidstone (d.1932) also in St David's Cathedral.
