Inscriptions: 'Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word.' (Luke 2:29) 'He took the young child and his Mother by night and departed into Egypt.' (Matthew 2:14).

Dedication: 'In memory of John Holland Hughes, who died on 21st February 1957'.
