Crucified Christ with the Virgin and St John above the rood screen. Below each figure are painted shields carved in relief: beneath the Virgin a winged heart pierced by a sword, beneath Christ the elements of the Eucharist, and beneath John an eagle. A winged ox is also carved below the feet of Christ on the cross.

The whole screen has been moved halfway into the chancel from its original position at the entrance to the chancel.
