A shepherd carries a lamb on his shoulders, with sheep grazing and angels holding texts at either side. technique: stained glass size: 44 cm (width of each light) artist: Henry Holiday Church of St Matthew, Buckley, Flintshire west wall of the north aisle Text: 'He shall feed his flocks. He shall gather the lambs with his arm.' (Isaiah 40:11). Dedication: 'Given by his wife and daughter in blessed memory of Harry Drew Shepherd of Souls: Laus Deo'. Harry Drew (died 1910), the son-in-law of William Gladstone, was vicar of Buckley, and oversaw the rebuilding of the church between 1897 and 1905.
