In the right-hand light the risen Christ, with a banner, meets a female figure, probably Mary Magdalene. Angels above.technique: stained glass size: 36 cm (width of each light) Church of St Catherine, Llanfaes, Anglesey south wall of the south aisle Text in the upper trefoil: 'I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day' (John 11:24). Dedication: 'In memory of John Lewis Hampton Lewis of Henllys and Bodior born October 18 1798 died September 5 1871'. An unusual pairing of subjects. |
