The left-hand light depicts Christ seated in the house of Mary and Martha, with Mary Mgdalane sitting listening to his teaching, and Martha behind, serving. Agnus Dei in the upper light.technique: stained glass Church of St John the Baptist, Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil (liturgical) west wall of the transept Angels above and below the scene hold the text 'She hath chosen | the good part'. The upper panel of the right-hand light survives with an angel who hold the text 'Suffer little children' suggesting that the missing subject was Christ with children. There is also damage to the #surviving left-hand light. |
