Church of St David, Penmaenmawr, Conwy
east wall of the sanctuary

The harp and crown clearly indicate that the figure is a standard image of the biblical David. However, he is titled as the Welsh St David, which would have been appropriate give the dedication of the church to St David. A pity that the iconography does not match!
