At the top of the right-hand light. over the Virgin and Child is the scene of the Annunciation, with the text 'Blessed art thou among Women' (Luke 1:28 and 42).technique: stained glass artist: George J. Hunt Church of St Illtyd, Llantwit Fardre, Rhondda Cynon Taff north wall of the nave Signed and dated with the artist's monogram. Given in memory of Revd John Jenkins, first vicar of the parish (1873-1923), and his wife Elizabeth Florence Jenkins, in 1937 by Hilda Capenhurst, the sister of Elizabeth Jenkins. |
