about 1871 Narrow single-light window with Mary standing, holding the infant Christ, and a scene below of Mary at her reading desk, visited by Gabriel. technique: stained glass firm/studio: Burlison & Grylls Church of St Mary, Nercwys, Flintshire west wall of the north aisle Given in memory of Catherine Wynne Philpot, died 29 September 1871. Unless contemporary with or later than the restoration of 1883, when the north aisle was added, the window has been reset in its present position.
