St Gabriel and St Michael

Gabriel holds the inscription from the annunciation to Mary: 'Hail thou that art highly favoured' (Luke 1: 28), while Michael is depicted in armour with a sword and a shield bearing the red cross. An angel in the uppermost circular light holds the text: 'Praise the Lord ye angels of his'technique: stained glass firm/studio: Clayton & Bell Church of St Theodore, Port Talbot, Neath Port Talbot south aisle Given in memory of Rupert Price Hallowes, killed in Flanders on 15 October 1915, and unveiled 1 October 1917. |
