1884 Three-light window depicting figures with angels above carrying their names. technique: stained glass firm/studio: S. Belham & Co. designer: Frederic Shields Church of St Padarn, Llanbadarn Fawr, Ceredigion south wall of the sanctuary The window is signed by the firm. The Manchester Weekly Times (6 September 1884) identifies the designer as Frederic Shields, even though, according to The Buildings of Wales: Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion all the chancel glass was designed by the architect of the restoration, J.P. Seddon (newspaper reference kindly provided by Michael Belham). Dedicated to members of the Powell family.
