1946 Coloured plates inserted selections from the text of the Authorised Version of the Bible. Includes subjects such as 'Christ Blessing Little Children', 'The Return of the Dove to the Ark', 'Joseph Sold by His Brethren', 'The Babe Among the Bulrushes', 'Crossing the Jordan', 'Ruth the Gleaner', 'David and Goliath', 'Solomon Dedicating the Temple', Naaman and Elisha', 'Isaiah's Vision of Peace', 'The Fiery Furnace', 'A Sower went forth to Sow', 'Feeding the Multitude', 'The Triumphal Entry', 'Paul's Escape from Damascus'. publisher: Thomas Nelson & Sons Ltd Private Collection Given as a School Bible in Cardiff in 1951. The illustrations are by a number of unnamed artists. Some signatures are visible on the pictures although the reproductions are too small to read.
