Its cost of £250 was met by a Parishioner. The church guide book attributes it as being to the design of the church architect E.M. Bruce Vaughan, but the piece is a close copy of the reredos at the Church of St John the Baptist, Cardiff, carved by William Goscombe John in 1891. |
