Edward Payne (1906–91)

Stained glass artist. Edward Raymond Payne studied at the Royal College of Art from 1924–7, before training with his father, the stained glass artist Henry Payne. He briefly worked for Morris & Co. at Merton Abbey, before establishing his own studio at Box, near Stroud.
