Inscriptions around the rim: 'Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not.' 'St Matthew XIX Pennod XIV Adnod. Cadewch i blant bychain. Ac na waherddwch iddynt ddyfod at taf fi. Cannys eiddo y cyfryw rai yw thyrnas nefoedd'. 'St Matthew XVIII Chapter X Verse. In heaven their angels do always behold the face of my father which is in heaven'.
