Scenes from the Birth of Christ

about 1889 Two-light window with four scenes. As well as Mary and Joseph with the new-born Christ, angels proclaiming the birth to the shepherds and adoration of the shepherds, there is also a scene of Mary and Joseph being shown into the stable by a boy. The symbol of Luke is shown above. technique: stained glass firm/studio: probably Burlison & Grylls Church of St Mary, Brecon, Powys south wall of the south aisle Dedication: 'To the Glory of God and in loving memory of John Kirk of Brecon, born Christmas Day 1818, died 18th October 1888.
