early twentieth century Single-light window with standing figure of Christ knocking at a door, derived from the famous painting by William Holman Hunt. technique: stained glass size: 65 cm (width) firm/studio: Robert J. Newbery Church of St Peter, Glasbury, Powys south wall of the nave The window could be contemporary with the Boer War memorial window by the same firm. Text: 'I am the light of the World". A particularly weak derivative from Holman Hunt, albeit a typical work by the firm.
