Baldwin of Forde - Archbishop of Canterbury (61B2(BALDWIN OF FORDE))

Archbishop Baldwin (about 1125-1190) was enthroned as archbishop of Canterbury in 1185, shortly before visiting Wales in 1187 and 1188. Preaching the crusade while asserting Canterbury's authority over the Welsh church, he was accompanied by Gerald of Wales.
