Christ and the Apostles with scrolls inscribed with the Apostles' Creed in Latin. Each Apostle holds either his implement of martyrdom or his symbol. The figures are: Peter, Andrew, James the Greater, John the Divine, Philip, James the Less, Thomas, Bartholemew, Matthew, Simon, Matthias and Thaddeus (Jude).

Dedication: As a memorial to the great work of three Vicars of Roath: the Rev. Frederick William Puller Vicar 1872-1880, Bishop Charles Alan Smythis Vicar 1880-1883 and Canon Frederick John Beck Vicar 1883-1919.
Shares similarities with Comper's high altar reredos in Ripon Cathedral.
