Bangor Cathedral, Bangor, Gwynedd
east wall of the presbytery

A reredos had been designed by Gilbert Scott for the restored presbytery, but was not made. It was eventually funded by Elizabeth Symes, in memory of her brother Lieutenant-Colonel Holt, under the supervision of J. Oldrid Scott, and installed late in 1882. The reredos was gilded in 1984.
