St David and St Andrew

David is dresed as a bishop, with a dove at his ear, while Andrew holds his cross. technique: stained glass size: 46 cm (width of each light) firm/studio: Clayton & Bell Church of St Cynog, Penderyn, Rhondda Cynon Taff south wall of the nave Given in memory of William Menelaus (1818–82), by his his cousins C.J. Darling and W.L. Darling. Menelaus was a managing partner at the Dowlais Ironworks, and a notable art collector and patron.
