about 1880 Single-light window with a kneeling male figure, apparently at an altar, although the curtain above is drawn back and the sun appears at the top right of the scene.technique: stained glass firm/studio: Ward & Hughes Church of St John the Baptist, Clydach, Swansea porch The window has been reset in its current position, with additional white and coloured glass around it. Dedication: 'In loving remembrance of Arthur George Aubrey Smith chorister drowned while bathing Aug 28 1880 aged 10 years'. |
