A two-light window with crucifixion scene above two lower panels showing Matthew and Mark writing their Gospels. At the crucifixion, the centurion makes his declaration 'Truly this was the Son of God.' He holds a standard 'SPQR' while other soldiers look on.

Given in memory of William Moffat Douglas-Willan (Royal Horse Artillery) of Gwynford Abbey, Middlesex, by his daughter.

SPQR stands for 'Senatus Populusque Romanus' - the Senate & People of Rome which was the official formula of the Imperial Government.
