about 1877
Three-light window. Christ ascends with angels with Mary and John below and other disciples in the left and right-hand lights.

technique: stained glass

firm/studio: probably Heaton, Butler & Bayne

Church of St Mary, Burry Port, Carmarthenshire
east wall of the chancel

The window is dated and attributed to Hardman's in the Buildings of Wales volume for Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. However, the style of the window is closer to the work of Heaton, Butler and Bayne.

Given in memory of George Richards Elkington and his wife Mary Auster by their five sons.
