about 1870 Two-light window. Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea lay the body of Christ in the tomb, with the three women and John. A jumble of stained glass fragments at the bottom of the window. Above, the Risen Christ with four figures, one of whom appears to be Moses, perhaps liberating them from hell, or welcoming them into heaven. technique: stained glass size: 40 cm (width of each light) firm/studio: John Hardman & Co. Cathedral Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, Wrexham west end of the south aisle Placed over the vault which was the last resting place of the patrons, Richard and Ellen Thompson.
