Given in memory of William Victor Bibby, who was killed over Dortmund in January 1945. The Royal Air Force had several RAF stations in the surrounding area during the Second World War.

The faculty for the window is dated October 1947, and the window is dated 1947 by Powell in the 1952 Directory published by the British Society of Master Glass Painters.
