1915 Three-light window. Christ stands in the central light with children. Further children in the outer lights with standing angels. Further angels above and in the four main tracery lights. technique: stained glass size: 43 cm (width of each light) firm/studio: C.E. Kempe & Co Ltd Church of St Augustine, Rumney, Cardiff south wall of the sanctuary The Kempe and Tower mark is included in the lower left-hand light. Texts over the outer lights: 'I have redeemed thee ... I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine' (Isaiah 43:1). Dedication: 'In loving recollection of a great friend and in thankfulness to God for the life of James Edward Harris, fourteen brothers and sisters dedicate this and the adjoining window. A.D. 1915.' The window is a variant of the common theme of Christ blessing children brought to him by their mothers (Matthew 19:13-15; Mark 10:13-16; Luke 18:15-17).
