Musical Angels

1883 Two-light window with four seated angels playing different instruments, with texts from the Beatitudes. Lilies amid vines above. technique: stained glass size: 39 cm (width of each light) firm/studio: C.E. Kempe Church of All Saints, Newbridge-on-Wye south wall of the nave The texts with the angels are 'Blessed are the pure in heart', 'for they shall see God' (Matthew 5:8). The text is given once in the left-hand light, and once in the right-hand light.
