about 1919
Single-light window with a woman and child, both of whom are nimbed.

technique: stained glass

firm/studio: probably J. Wippell & Co. Ltd

Church of St Mary, Briton Ferry, Neath Port Talbot
south wall of the south aisle

Attributed to the firm on stylistic grounds. It appears to be by the same maker as the east window.

Given in memory of Anne Heale (1842-1914) and Thomas Heale (1883-1919).

The subject of the window is not made explicit, but as both figures have halos, it is likely to represent the Virgin Mary and her mother, particularly as the window is partly in memory of a woman called Anne.
