Two-light window. Eve stands weeping in the right-hand light, while the angel guarding Eden with the flaming sword stands in the left-hand light.

technique: stained glass
size: 47 cm (width of each light)
firm/studio: A. K. Nicholson Stained Glass Studios

Church of St Gabriel, Brynmill, Swansea
south wall of the south aisle (Lady Chapel)

The text below Eve in a wreath reads 'It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.' (Genesis 3:15).

The presence of this window in the Lady Chapel emphasises the role of Mary as the new Eve.
