The Last Judgement with Acts of Mercy

about 1830 Three-light window with scenes in roundels with texts. technique: stained glass size: 65 cm (width of each light) [approx] artist: Charles Clutterbuck Church of St Digain, Llangernyw, Conwy east wall of the chancel Mostyn Lewis points out that the window was commissioned no later than 1830, as the patrons, the daughters of Howel Lloyd, left Llangernyw at this date. It is therefore the earliest known window by the artist, and also considerably pre-dates the restoration of the church in about 1849. The window was recently releaded and conserved by Barry Brady of Meridian Stained Glass.
