about 1904 Four-light window with two main scenes. The left-hand scene depicts Christ seated, Mary at his feet with an open book, as he addresses Martha, who points towards her sister. The right-hand scene depicts Christ with a young child, facing a woman with two more children, one of whom holds a lamb. Christ ascending with discples below in the upper three quatrefoils. technique: stained glass firm/studio: Swaine Bourne & Son Mount Pleasant Congregational Church, Pontypool, Torfaen (liturgical) east wall of the chancel Signed by the firm in the lower right-hand light. Given in memory of Councillor William Sandbrook (died 1901), deacon of the church and superintendent of the Sunday School, by his widow.
