Central panel depicts Christ on the cross with Mary, John and angels. Numerous saints under arcading with two scenes depicting the Annunciation and the empty tomb with an angel greeting two women.

An original design for the reredos of 1935 shows that the central panel was originally intended to depict the Supper at Emmaus.
