about 1868
Pair of single-light windows showing Christ with shepherd's staff, a lamb over his shoulders and sheep below, and with two young children.

technique: stained glass

firm/studio: Clayton & Bell

Eglwys Oen Duw, Beulah, Powys
chancel

Both windows have lost detail in the paler areas.

The dedications appear to commemorate four children, perhaps of the same family. The windows are close in style and seem to be a pair. The last of the death dates is 1860, and given that the church was built in 1867 will be no earlier than this. Beneath the Good Shepherd Clara Gwynne Thomas (born/died 1836) and Evan Thomas Gwynne Thomas (born 1837, died 1838) are commemorated; and in the other window Eva (1851-1858) and Amy (1858-1860). The ages of both children at their death is the same as those depicted above with Christ.
