about 1890
Three-light window. Christ, with crown of thorns and shepherd's staff, greets elderly and lame, and a mother with a baby.

technique: stained glass

artist: W. F. Dixon

Church of St John the Baptist, Cardiff

Given in memory of Edward Evans (d.1860), his wife Caroline Martha and children Edward Charles Robert and Caroline Mariaime. As the style is close to that of the window depicting Christ and Mary Magadalene and Christ with the Woman of Samaria (clearly indicating the same maker) this may well date to the same period of around 1890.
