about 1908
Figure of the crucified Christ on the cross behind and altar with the Agnus Dei.

medium: wood
technique: carved, painted
size: 160 cm (height of figure)

Church of St German, Roath, Cardiff
north west corner of the nave

Moved here from the Mission House in Advent 1937.

Given in memory of Sister Nesta Mary, who worked in the parish 1891-1923. The St Lawrence Mission House was opened in Ruby Street in 1908, so the crucifix possibly dates from that time.
