about 1942
Two-light window. Two women are shown with children (left-hand light) and ministering to the sick (right-hand light). Three seraphim in an upper roundel.

technique: stained glass
size: 44 cm (width of each light)
firm/studio: Shrigley & Hunt

Church of St Caron, Tregaron, Ceredigion
south wall of the nave

Signed by the firm.

Beneath the left-hand scene is the text 'Suffer the little children' (Mark 10:14) and below the right-hand scene 'And there shall be no more pain' (Revelation 21:4).

Given in memory of twin sisters, Ellen Grace and Margaret Williams, who both died in 1941.

The text 'Suffer the little children' is almost always used with images of Christ with children, but unusually here is used out of its biblical context.
